Flaked Corn

Description:

Flaked maize lightens the wort and can add a unique corn flake-like sweetness to beers.

Flaked Maize is made by removing the germ, bran, and soft endosperm from cleaned yellow corn and grinding the remaining hard endosperm to the desired granulation. The gritty texture makes it an ideal ingredient for brewing adjuncts.
