Rice Hulls

Description:

Used as a lautering aid, rice hulls prevent stuck mashes and clogged false bottoms by creating a physical structure that allows wort to flow freely. They are essential when brewing with high percentages of wheat, rye, oats, or flaked grains.  For brewing, rice hulls are flavor-neutral and do not contribute to gravity, color, or body.

“The quality of the malt not only meets our standards, but exceeds them… Malteurop also includes shipping in the price, so I’m not getting hit with a surprise fee when the invoice arrives.”
